ANTHRAX: Official Podcast Available For Download

April 8, 2006

ANTHRAX have made a 70-minute podcast available for download at this location (MP3, 20 MB). The podcast features commentary by ANTHRAX's webmaster Brent Thompson. "Listen along as he spews ANTHRAX news, blathering ramblings, site updates, outright lies, heavy breathing, behind-the-scenes info, comedic anecdotes and a phone call to Scott [Ian, guitar] from last Saturday!" reads a posting on the band's web site. "Presented unedited (well poorly edited),uncensored and contains totally immature and outright vulgar adult language. Listener discretion is advised."

ANTHRAX completed a 13-date U.S. tour on Jan. 21 in Hollywood, California. Sitting behind the kit for the last two dates was SHADOWS FALL's Jason Bittner after regular ANTHRAX skinsman Charlie Benante was forced to leave the tour early to attend to his wife Sandra, who gave birth to the couple's first child, Mia Charley Benante, on Jan. 19. The band kicked off a three-week European headlining tour Friday night (April 7) in Dublin, Ireland, with BEYOND FEAR (featuring ex-JUDAS PRIEST and current ICED EARTH frontman Tim "Ripper" Owens) supporting.
